The Trafford Borough Police department consists of 10 sworn law enforcement officers:
• 6 Full-Time Officers (Including Chief of Police)
• 3 Part-Time Officers

Trafford Borough Police officers answer calls for service, conduct traffic enforcement and help patrol the community.  We are also actively engaged in both the Trafford Elementary & Middle schools.

In a cooperative effort with the Penn-Trafford School District, the Trafford Police Department has an officer on duty at the Trafford Middle & Elementary School during normal school hours for the protection and safety to our children.

The Police Department’s officers also speak periodically to the Senior Citizens who reside in the Trafford Manor Highrise regarding crimes against the elderly (scams, phone scams etc.)

The Department’s vehicle fleet consists of:
(1) Dodge Charger
(2) Dodge Durangos

The Trafford Police Department is dispatched through Westmoreland County 911.
