May 17th: Junior Council Person Program Mock Council Meeting

To cap off our second successful year of the Trafford Borough Junior Council Person (JCP) Program, our High School graduating Senior JCP members will take the helm as Council President for a mock Council Meeting on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 4:00pm in Council Chambers. This is an opportunity for our JCP members to practice everything they have observed and learned since the program began in September 2022. The public and media is welcome to attend!

Volunteers needed! Have you ever wanted to see what it was like to serve as a council member? This is your chance by volunteering in the JCP Mock Council Meeting! Any member of our community is invited to experience sitting on the council board with a mock agenda and opportunity to discuss and vote on sample agenda items that boroughs such as ours may need to address. If you are interested in participating/volunteering, please register by emailing Council President Kris Cardiff at kcardiff@traffordborough.com by Sunday, May 12, 2024.
