ALCOSAN AWARDS GRANT TO TRAFFORD
$12,200 will help fund sewer repairs

The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority Board of Directors has approved a $12,200 grant for the completed rehabilitation of 950 feet of sanitary sewer pipe at 8th Street.

The entire cost of the project that was eligible for matching funds from ALCOSAN was $41,940, and ALCOSAN will cover 29 percent of it. The work is expected to remove 23,000 gallons of stormwater from the sewer collection system.
